This is a piece I did in hopes to submit it as a promotional work for Comicpalooza 2012!  Comicpalooza is the biggest con in my hometown of Houston!  I love doing that show and this would be my second year in a row to submit promo work.  Last year they used my zombie fanboy piece for the badges and programs and it was well recieved, and I would be willing to bet this one would do just as well.  This piece is done in homage to the famous Green Lantern Volume 3 # 49 cover… drawn by Darryl Banks.  It was always one of my favorite covers and has been a huge inspiration in my career for its creativity….
